The book of Jonah is full of the supernatural. For example, only God could spare a life from a whale. As a reader, I think this stands out a lot. I believe Jonah and I learned the same thing and that is the simple rule not to run from God. If you run from God like Jonah did, you end up worse off than if you would have just followed Gods instructions. This was my favorite bible story when I was young because I could not believe someone would go through all that trouble in stead of doing what God said in the first place. But now that I am older I see how God will ask us to do hard things.

God existed and has always existed. God created the heavens and the earth. Some people ask why did he create heaven before the earth but he could have created them at the exact same time. The bible doesn't tell us this detail. At first, the earth was formless and dark so God created light. He separated light from dark and named light "day" and dark is calls " night".
Then He separated the water from water to be the sky and clouds. And He created land. The third day, God created plants and trees to produce fruit with seeds so this leads me to believe He was already planning to create something or someone to eat the fruit. He already has created vegetation two days before any animals so That shows He knows what he is doing. Then He made the sun and the stars. God had days without the sun so where did that light come from? The bible doesn't tell us so we will have to ask Him when we meet Him in Heaven. we are now on the fifth day and He makes all living creatures. On this sixth day, God made man kind and gave them the garden. He commands all living things, this includes humans, to be fruitful and multiply. Now it is the seventh day and God rested from all this creation.

God's story and my life
Throughout every day we all have a ton of choices that we don't even realize we have. By knowing and understanding God's story Helps me choose the right choices daily because everyone has a different purpose, yes that's right every one has a different purpose. My purpose is different then your purpose so my decisions impact me different then yours. In my daily life I must take every decision to The Lord, Yes that Impacts my life and hopefully it impacts other people's life around me too. I want to know and understand God's story so I can live out God's purpose for me.

Bible facts
In this assignment I'm supposed to write anything about the Bible so I chose to write about facts of the Bible.
There are more than 168,000 Bibles given or bought per day in the United States. I find it interesting that almost everyone in the United States has access to a Bible but does not live by it. It took 1600 years to write the Bible and it was written by 40 men. The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 119. Psalms is also the longest book in the Bible, the longest verse in the Bible is Esther 8:9; it has 90 words. I'm glad it was not a memory verse last year because there is no way I could remember 90 words. There are a lot of books about religion but the Bible is the only one that is the actual words of God. The Bible is translated in over 1000 languages. That amazes me because I didn't even know there was 1000 languages. The oldest person in the Bible was Methuselah, who died when he was 969 years old. I wonder if he could remember his childhood being that old? For my last random fact about the Bible I must tell you it would take 70 hours to read because there are 773,692 words in the Bible.
